Our 3 Unique Varieties Of Lavender Explained

Our 3 Unique Varieties Of Lavender Explained

keep calm & find the lavender that’s best for you

we source three unique varieties of lavender, each one with it’s own story & unique set of benefits

Lavender Highland lavandula angustifolia

The most calming lavender. grown in the high altitudes of Provence France, this chemotype of lavender has the highest content of linalol, making it most ideal for sleep, hypertension, calming inflammation, treating burns and bites etc. This variety is safe for everyone, use with small children to treat nervous exhaustion and hysterical outbursts; the calming properties of lavender will help them relax and promote sleep. Our lavender highland is certified organic and one of the best sellers in our entire collection!

We also have a wild-certified organic lavandula angustifolia, this is a very special type of lavender highland because it's grown in the wild (rather than being cultivated) which makes lavender very happy. happy lavender = more linalol ;)

Spike Lavender lavandula latifolia

In addition to the other healing properties generic to lavender, spike lavender has a camphor content, which makes it an ideal lavender to help with overcoming colds and flus, combat the spread of illness & promote overall respiratory health. Use via inhalation during cold & flu season to stay healthy & strong.

Sweet Lavender lavandula hybrida

A hybrid between spike & highland lavenders, sweet lavender (also known as lavandin) is calming, soothing and possesses some components of each, spike and highland. although not nearly as high in the valued component of linalol, sweet lavender is a good option when economy is the top priority. We’re able to offer our sweet lavender at a lower price point, while still providing a high quality, certified organic & totally gorgeous lavender.
