Common Uses: Relaxes tension muscle spasm, especially when nervousness is the cause. Useful for nervous breathing disorders and respiratory infections. Very relaxing, sedative effect on the nervous system.
Emotional/Psychological Uses: Calming, uplifting and refreshing. Used to treat insomnia.
Cosmetic/Skin Uses: Petitgrain has a tonic effect on the skin and is used for blemished and breakout prone skin. Petitgrain is deodorant and a wonderful oil to add to body powders, deodorants and body lotions. 
Blends Well With: Rose Geranium, Lavender, Sweet Marjoram, Chamomiles, Sandalwood, Neroli, Fir, Spruce and Mandarin
Inside Info: Petitgrain is the leaf oil of Citrus Trees. Try Lemon Petitgrain for a beautiful top note in perfume blends, or Orange Petitgrain (Petitgrain Bigarde) to extend the aroma of Neroli.
